
About me
Oleksandra Krasavtseva was born in Kyiv, Ukraine in October 1995.
From 2013 till 2017 she studied architecture at the Academy of Arts and Architecture in Kyiv.
After an architecture bachelor's degree she began to work in the creative fields as freelance illustrator and graphic designer. In 2018 she started to study visual communication in Kunsthochschule Kassel.
In autumn 2019 together with her sister Sofiia Krasavtseva made exhibition in Kyiv that represented their poetry works.
From November 2019 till January 2020 she was working on her first short animation ZEBRA, which was based on her poem. The premiere of the animation took place at Trickreich 20 in Kassel. Animation was awarded with the "Film Bilder Price" from Thomas Mayer-Hermann.
Her animated experimental short HUGE CHOICE was selected for several international film festivals and has won Short Tiger Award 2023 and Adaptation Award at Cadence Video Poetry Festival 2022.
